Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've noticed lately that some phrases have been repeated nonstop and was wondering if there are anymore.

"Get off your high horse" in particular. I've seen this about 20 times today alone.

    Any more?

Breaking the rules a bit here but people who start threads with "So...", often to make something pretty awful or important seem casual or trivial, example: "So I just got my car broken into" or "So I tried to kill myself last night"...ughhh....

That "thinly veiled" shite. Every time I see it I think that it's a thinly veiled "I am an unoriginal retard" post by the poster though sometimes they can be funny.

    Fixed your post

Also fixed your post is also very annoying.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,039 ✭✭✭face1990

+1 on the thinly veiled shíte.

Fixed your post is annoying too. It's kinda like "here's what I would have said if I were you. see how much funnier I am?"

And people who announce that they've reported a post. As though telling teacher, and being all smug about it, means they win the argument.

(and no, I've never had one of my posts reported, that I know of)
