Over the past year and more, grass has been let grow out over paths, weeds are growing, fertilising doesn't seem to be taking place, bushes are growing out into alleyways and so on.

I pay a few hundred in managing fees, so why isn't the agent managing this?! I've left messages but get no call back and I've never seen the agent doing any inspections. Is this not part of what we pay the agent for?

Isn't Kennedy Wright the agent? Couldn't you call into them?

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

What does your management contract say?

Does it says regular cuts and good level of maintenance or something similar? these are all very subjective terms and easily open to downgrading in this economy.

Unless contract states, pull weeds every 2 weeks, cut grass every 1 month or some such, you won't get the level you think you deserve.

Its a sorry fact and hangover from the celtic days.

So will this pare back of services lead to increased excesses in management companies balance sheets thus leading to lower permiums (as if) or is it being primed by the management companies to plead inability to provide services due to funding therefore leading to Co.Council take over ahead of the property tax?
    Conspiracy?

Have to say I would disagree. I think the place looks well and think they are doing a good job considering the overgrowth that was experienced this year.
