Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

But she is not really rated, as such.

Just like Boyzone, Westlife etc. are not rated. They're just manufactured acts, aimed at a young audience, with brains not yet mature enough to know any better. It's all about appearance (note they're always good looking) - do a few cover or simple catchy songs, lots of publicly, and make millions.

is it me, or is KK getting rounder and smaller by the minute - okay she has a fat butt, but lately her outfits are doing nothing for her, and she seems to be piling it on both in the front and the back. She seems very average now with a pretty face- a pretty face that a billion other girls have.

I never rated her, she does have a kind of pretty face though i suppose - but nothing amazing or anything like that.

    Thomas Edison

Yep Tesla was a hundred times better and never got the recognition from the man on the street that Edison did.
    Fleetwood Mac.

Also when did we decide it's acceptable to like Fleetwood Mac again?

Early Fleetwodd Mac were damm good.
Some fookers think they started with stevie nicks and Buckingham.

Over-rated I thought meant critically acclaimed rather than commercially successful. No way on this earth are One Direction over-rated.

REM are IMO over-rated. Highly acclaimed yet I find them mostly well dull.

    Oh FFS.
REM who can actually play, write their own stuff and perform live are now worse than a bunch of kids who are probably miming manufactured drivel.

    The Eagles
    Neil Young

...they come from the same cloth eared place as Daniel O Donnell (and he knows he's crap).

Specsavers now do hearing aids AFAIK. ;)
He was also an icon of the Civil Rights Movement and the anti-war movement in the US. He provided inspiration to Martin Luther King Jnr and many, many others when he spoke out and refused to be drafted into the army to go to Vietnam with the immortal words, 'No Viet-Cong ever called me a n*gger'.

The man is more than just a sportsman. He's a cultural icon. Not overrated in anyway, in my opinion. He's one of only a handful of famous people I would actually love to meet.

Actually I don't like Ali and I don't like how he is wheeled out (literally nowadays) as some great example of sportsmanship and inspiration.

He had one nasty streak in him that was more than highlighted in his atrocious treatment of Joe Frazier.

Ali was a great boxer, but he was not the great bloody sportsman that he is made out to be.

I am not allowed discuss …

He didn't say they were worse, he said One-direction aren't overrated, pretty much because nobody whose opinion matters likes them.

    Gavin Friday

Not my first choice for someone overrated but all the best ones have already been said.
I've never met anyone who likes his work but any attention he gets from the media ranges from blatant fawning on his alleged status as an elder sage of the Irish music scene, typically while simultaneously **** over his rebellious outsider credentials, to a non-judgemental description of his latest album or performance, that strenously avoids saying if it's any good instead relying on cop-out terms like "exciting", "brave" or "controversial". I assume all this results from his close ties with U2.

Ringo is unfairly maligned as a drummer, if anything he is underrated. A very steady, understated drummer whose style fitted the Beatles perfectly. I'm not sure what people expect him to do differently when they listen to Beatles songs?

    Agree with you
    without her looks shes nothing

She is a model to be fair :D

That's a bit like saying Messi is nothing without his football.
