I just gave him a listen, is he a serious artist? Reminded me of Flight of the Concords.
some of the singles from his albums are a bit cheesy, although i wouldn't have thought of FotC :pac:
his DJ sets are quite good though, here's one from a few weeks ago:

    maybe check out Blondes too

Nah, it really fades away after Like a Pen. If I love the first half would I like the new album?

And Chvrches, I dunno, just a bit crap really. IMO. You twat you :)

I wouldn't think you'd like the new album so. I'm a big fan of The Knife but I find the new album hard work TBH. Some great tracks, but a lot of filler and drone pieces that just aren't very good IMO.

Their show is meant to be awful which is a sickner since the Silent Shout tour looked amazing.

There's: Aeroplane - Hercules and the love affair - Krystal Klear. Maybe they're a bit dancey?
A bit more electronic: Mount Kimbie - Mo - Factory Floor - Chrome Sparks - Young Wonder.

EP have a playlist on spotify. Nialler9 has a playlist on soundcloud.

Cheers for the tips! Will suss all those out. Hercules is a DJ set though ain't it? Saw Young Wonder at Longitude and was impressed.

Cheers, really liking that Braids song. I'll check out more of their stuff, can you recommend some other songs please?

I'd recommend John Grant (even though I'm not gone on his new album)

Try Lammiken (bit more of a slow burner, but worth it): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXRtdY2aews

and Native Speaker (more quiet): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2js8IQkuhE

These tracks are from their first album Native Speaker but they have a new EP out soon as well.

Also, if you haven't heard them check out Warpaint. They're brilliant live. John Grant is definitely on the list though haven't heard the new album yet.

Same, felt like I was just missing something that everyone else was getting.

Very true, Ghostdancer, and I really hope you're right. All that I'm saying is that, based on the very odd reply to line-up questions on the FB page, I don't have much confidence in there being more acts announced for the the main bill. It's just the way in which EP is incredibly selective when it comes to answering queries that unsettles me. Doesn't like the question? Then it won't answer it.

When it was asked on Friday whether this was the full line-up or more acts were to be added, the response was this, as I quoted earlier: "There will be more acts announced for Body and Soul, Trenchtown and Salty Dog."

Whatever happens, I'll still be there. :)
they posted this earlier this morning:

Hi Kate, there are more acts to be added to the main lineup aswell as Body and Soul (who always have a host of electronic acts), Salty Dog and Trenchtown

They seem to have vocalists on their "soundsystem" sets sometimes, which would be good

So Sunday tickets are apparently sold out then, I'm seeing the comments on Facebook but no official announcement as yet.

Could be, just tried to buy some on ticket master getting the old "Sorry, no exact matches were found, but other tickets may still be available."

Double check the Ticketmaster page you are on, was searching myself I had Electric Picnic 2013 camping tickets typed into Google and for some reason it took me to the ticketmaster 2012 EP page where there was a sign saying no tickets available, it only dawned on me afterwards that the date in the ticketmaster page was 2012.

Someone has made a balls of the page but thats the 2013 link there, nothing on sale at the moment. I would be stunned if its sold out.

The campsites are capable of holding 35,000 based on 2008 2009 capacity (which they didnt sell day tickets for )
I dunno what the capacity is this year. But they can't have sold that many.
They will be back on sale for anti touting reasons at least.

Every event is giving that no tickets are available right now message. Ticketmaster often does maintenance after midnight on their site so it is most likely that the database is just detached from the website or similar. That is not to say that the resulting panic this has created won't cause the remaining ones to be snapped up.
