    http://www.irishtimes.com/blogs/ontherecord/2013/08/08/behold-its-the-body-soul-stage-at-the-electric-picnic/
Here’s the first batch of acts who will be in situ at the Electric Picnic’s Body & Soul village in Stradbally on August 30, 31 and September 1

Phantom (not the radio station, but the awesome Finnish act)
    Skip&Die
    Matthew E White (oh yes!)
    HK119
    Tourist
Josef Salvat (he’d better bring that blue suit – he’s going to rock your world)
    Frida Sundemo
    Smaris
    Fallulah (hup!)
    Máirtin O’Connor Band (more hup!)
    Ryan Vail (repping Derry)
    Mark Mulcahy
Le Galaxie (there was a new law passed by the Seanad before they went off that all Irish fests must feature a glowstick-wielding Galaxie)
    Smaris
    Wife (excellent)
    Slow Skies
Come On Live Long (check their album, people)
    Overhead, The Albatross
    Ajo Arkestra
John Smith (or John Smith John Smith as he’s known round here)
Daithi (who recently turned the town square in Kinsale into Space in Ibiza)
    Ghosts
    Vann Music
    Tig Linn
    Ultan Conlan
I Have A Tribe (you’ll be raving about Tribe within months)
    Last Days Of 1984
    Jennifer Evans (even more hup!)
    Cove
    Band Of Clouds
    The Eskies
    R.S.A.G
    The Dead Heavys
    Swords
    The Dionnes
    King Kong Company

e: actually there's even more on the B&S site that aren't mentioned above, and vice-versa:

Same! I feel like such an uncultured swine all these bands announced and know shag all of em!

at this stage in 2012, there were 62 acts announced.
    in 2011, it was 71.

It's like you have some savant like ability when it comes to Electric Picnic acts!

Well it seems that the EP line up is a damn sight better than the one for Sziget this year, Mika as a Saturday night headliner lol http://www.sziget.hu/festival_english/programs#.UgOwtm3jmLE

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

Well at least we're spared him! Aside from that though I'd have to say Sziget has a much better line-up than EP when you scroll through it. It'll still be a great weekend though.

There seems to have been a few Irish acts slipped to the main body of the lineup today also.

The likes of Dirty Epics, Halves, Maud In Cahoots and Silhouette (don't know how well known Silhouette are south of the border but she's quickly becoming a big deal up here) are now at the bottom of the poster.

I'm not really feeling these Donkey Kong Country people on first listen. I'm sure they'll go down well live though.

As are Enemies! I would have thought they were well known enough to include in an announcement like?! Again, the addition of le galaxie, Halves, RSAG and Enemies makes me a happy Irish bunny.

Some classic male head bopping and sideways sway moves there, wouldn't mind listening to them of a Sunday afternoon, really interesting band
