    It won't be a daft punk announcement anyway. No way would those guys globally announce their first live show in 6 years for a little old festival in Ireland.

    don't think so, they announced SR earlier, and in the comments 10mins ago they said it wasn't Green Day and asked for any other guesses.

    i wouldn't have thought Sigur Ros are a "massive" announcement either IMO. massive to me is a festival or superstar act. SR might just about manage to sell out the O2...

    EP isn't getting a world exclusive on Daft Punk, Bowie or anyone else imo.

    Expect this massive announcement to be someone like Justin Timberlake or Jay-Z.

    I'll eat my hat if it's an EP announcement.

    agreed, it will most likely be Oxegen or a Phoenix Park gig, or some sort of huge pop/legendary act.
    very unlikely to be EP.
