Over on EP forum someone said 2FM said they would be announcing it.
Not sure if they'll be first though!

Sorry about my ignorance here but I'm on my phone and going through the rest of the thread is a trek, how do I go about getting the code for cheaper tickets for people who've attended before? Can I send a screenshot of my ticketmaster history to some email?

I was asked by Ticketmaster not EP. After filling in the form posted a few pages back.

I also emailed info@electricpicnic.ie but got nothing back so far apart from an automated response...

Yeah I got that automated response too. Am hoping the EP lot get back to me by tomorrow evening, might email the eployalty address too just to be on the safe side.

If you are relying on the ticketmaster history you should already have an email to account associated with you ticketmaster account. They proactively emailed their users last night to advise them of the process and the discount they were eligible for. If you have not received one, you should call their customer service number with the booking code or codes issued by ticketmaster for the years you have attended

for ****s and giggles i'd nearly start a band called bowie and pull every string i could find to get on any stage at any time.

just for maximum confusion we'd only play NIN and Daft Punk

This better not be a shítty announcement only confirming the headliners and a couple of others that everybody already knows about. I want a full line-up.

    Arctic Monkeys confirmed. Phew

There is always going to be the "and many more" but that will turn out to be the local bands who are booked into other festivals that will get announced after those festivals are done. I reckon if you don't see a big name announced today they're not getting added later.

I wouldn't hold out for that. Going by last year, the line up was released over the course of 3/4 announcements. I'd be happy to see about half of the line up announced today. Anything more is a bonus.

    Olaf Tyransen???

What's he going to be doing?

Singing or just boring us all to death with a reading from his obnoxious 'memoirs'?

Not feeling it all with that lineup. A few good bands/acts in there but nothing that would have me excited to go.
