well if you do make sure to post here, watching/reading the build up reports adds to the excitement of it all.

Will do - unfortunately I won't be able to head up for a look on the weekend itself.... because I will be at it!!

How many kg's can you take? Would you be able to parachute a slab of Carlsberg for me, save me carrying it!! Ha ha ;)

Johnny Marr was fantastic on Jools last night. When I hear those opening chords for How Soon is Now live, I'm going to cry!

Bonnie Raitt completely rocked on Jools also, although Jools got carried away honky tonking, when all I wanted was to listen to her and her guitarist solo.

We know you are there, she's the star, now shut up!

Just checked my bank account and there's a €20 after being taken by Ticketmaster? Bit puzzled as I was expecting it to be €70 and then the next installment €49.50.

Anyone else have the wrong amount taken from their account?

Anyone who's tickets are coming by post know how long it usually takes?

Ticket master sometimes send tickets early enough, other times its really late say the week of the event! Can be stressful. You can't go wrong with a E ticket, no waiting around for delivery, print out on the day boom!

    Well that was...different.

Don't know why the whole 10th anniversary line annoys me so much.. At their website it's now 10th birthday which isn't right either :/

It was amazingly good weather. Suncream needed at times.

Felt cheated that I had gone to the effort of waterproofing the tent.

It looked like EP up until around the 1 minute mark when there was some fencing in the shot, but there was no-one pissing up against it..

I might have to now out of superstition!

It had taken a lot of rain during a week's camping earlier that summer and sprung a few leaks by the end of it, so we forced ourselves to pitch it and do the job. Then lo and behold, Ireland went all 'Spain' on us.:)

    Are all tents not waterproof?

kinda, they are all waterproof up to a point so one from dunnes could withstand a light shower whereas one from a proper camping place could nearly survive a night in a lake (well maybe not)

Waterproofing them yourself improves this rating like polishing a car for the water to run off.

If you have a cheap tent or a tent for a few years/outings you should apply it

This exactly! Ours is the Halford's family tent pack (cheap as chips) and we've used it a lot, so a coat of waterproofing is advisable every now and then.

Oh yeah the weather was epic balls last year if we got something even close to that this year I'd be elated... One of the best times last year 8)

As for tents, I use a trampoline cover i got in home store and more for a 5er over any old cheapie tent I find and it waterproofs the fella right up no problem!

Most of the cheapie tents can sprout a leak in a bit of rain but the double skinned ones are the totally water proof ones really
