    1. What is your budget? €300 to €500, the cheaper the better

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Watching content through netflix, free-to-air satellite connection, dvd, from storage on HDD, blu-ray a plus but not essential. Some gaming, mainly older games (2 to 5 years old) so performance dosen't have to be cutting edge.

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? yes, was going to go down student software route

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? no

    5. Do you need a monitor? no

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? 5 year old 40" HD-ready LCD Samsung TV. May upgrade to similar sized 1080P display in a years time.

    6. Do you need any peripherals?
Whatever peripherals are necessary. Ideally just an IR remote control and 2 wireless controllers for gaming; if anyone thinks a keyboard and/or mouse will be necessary for my needs listed above then incl. them.

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Yes, if necessary

    8. How can you pay? Any means

    9. When are you purchasing? Over the next few weeks

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? Dublin. Built a PC before and have significantly upgraded it since I should be alright

Hi. Further details are that space and noise aren't huge considerations. If everything required was in a case that would fit into a space 86cm wide x 27cm high x 35cm deep that would be a plus but not essential. Similarly low noise would be nice but not essential.
    Cheers
