Samsung Galaxy s 3 Suddenly not charging

    As of just now my phone is not able to charge, when I connect the charger it notifies me that the USB drive is connected and immidiately disconnect, without charging the phone.
    Has anyone encountered this before? It looks like a mechanical fault with the phone.

    I bought it in the 3 Shop on prepay so the don't have my details and I most likely don't have the receipt, will check in work tomorrow for it.

    Without it do I have any warranty cover? What are my other options how can I get the phone fixed?
