Just to gloat a bit, I saw Florence in Vegas in April on the roof of the cosmopolitan casino, strip side, and all I can say is wow. $36 for a ticket too, just raging I cant make it in December.

I dont get it why is FATM selling out, why not Bat for Lashes, she is much better, what has Florence ever done for us.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

Florence always sells out here, ALWAYS.....
She is incredible, in my opinion much much better then Bat For Lashes and she is also HUGE!!!!

Having seen both florence and bats for lashes live, I'd have to say Florence is a much better live performer.

To be fair to Natasha though, I did see her in a fairly big festival tent where the sound wasn't brilliant. I'd say she'd suit a more intimate venue.

That, and the fact Florence is much more famous anyway

Saw Florence for free at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend in June. Surprisingly easy to get to front of stage, crowd very laidback. She attracts a lot of poseurs to her gigs here so glad I saw her in her own backyard.

Florence and Natasha are different artists; they have different sounds but both have written some great music. Why even bother comparing them?

Had tickets to Florence's gig in the O2 in March but missed it 'cause I fecked off to China for a few months instead. This time I got tickets for her show in Coventry (moving to the UK next week for college) and can't wait. And she'll be playing there December 8th, which is just 3 days before my birthday! :D
