Gerrard is putting in some brilliant crosses and frees for England so far, his corners for us are poor lately but ya can always rely on him for some brilliant crosses. Sterling was involved for both goals.

His free kicks have never been an issue, its always been his corners.

Poor Borini, at 21 he hasent set the world alight even though I've thought he has done good for us despite being out of position and giving the fact he's in a new league and country.

Yet at 20 people are mad to give jonjo all the time in world. Borini gets a raw deal of a lot of people IMO.

I understand what youre saying but to have a keeper like Pepe on the bench behind Jones is embarassing. Form is temporary, class is permanent and all that.

usually our american spin doctors try to cushion the blow of a player leaving by releasing the news that an existing player has signed a new contract - this policy of course ignores the simple fact that our squad is declining and we are running to stand still

As long as it's not Luis I don't care! Hopefully Carra has been offered a contract extension and refused to sign it.

Well thinking about it.
Sterling tweeted he was signing in December. Not him.
Suso recently signed. Not him.
Sahin isn't ours. No need to worry.
Skrtel signed new contract. If it's him, big payout.
Agger signed new contract. If it's him, again big payout.
Glen Johnson just doesn't seem to be the type to engineer a move, seems happy is a regular starter so may be wrong.
Luis signed new contract. Plus we wouldn't let him go.
Allen isn't going anywhere.
Borini/Kelly are injured, aint him.
Gerrard isn't leaving.
Reina seem logical, anyone else wouldn't be terrible news.
Lucas is injured. Please god don't let it be news he's aggrevated it moreso.
Assaidi is new and not overly important to the setup as is.


Hendo/Reina/Enrique/Downing seem to be the only probables or am I wrong. We were linked with al habsi mid week so maybe they are looking for a replacement behind the scenes and it leaked.

All speculation of course :P

If it's a pool player leaving then who could it be?

Suarez, Agger, Johnson, Lucas, Reina are the only ones I could see it being. Any of them leaving would hurt. But if it's Sterling I'll harm myself.
