Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

High end phones and poor game design

    Hey all,

Wondering if anyone is experiencing the same problem as I am. I have an Xperia S, which is a great phone, but when I game I hit the battery, hard. Obviously gaming is a draining operation, but not this much. The phone gets as hot as when I've benched it or stressed tested. This leads me to believe that its running at full clock, 1.5Ghz on both cores. As these games(Anomaly, Osmos and Greed Corp, for example) will run just fine on a 1Ghz single core, this seems like bad code.

I may root once I sim unlock, and that would allow new CPU governors, but I dont know if that would help hugely.

Anyone else, and is there a solution?

    Thanks,
    ED E.
