Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Heh. Really don't know what everyone was moaning about.

Also- this phone is amazing. Really don't know what all the griping on blogs is about. It also looks like something out of 2001: A Space Odyssey, which is effing brilliant in my book.

    Not in my case.

Said it last night that I wished it had been UPS. At least they would have been honest about the delivery date. TNT wasted my day. Spent 5 hours waiting and got a cheeky phone call to say it would be tomorrow. Not even an apology.

    /rant.

Well I rang TNT and they assured me it was on the van for delivery today. It was actually in Cork at 10am, 10 minutes away from me and still managed to **** it up.

Yours was always in the UK it said so on the tracking.

Last things I ordered were Accessories and they went from Tamworth - Germany - Dublin. But looks like it'll be going straight to Dublin since it added an extra depot in Castle Donnighton this time.

Mines in Koeln, Germany at the moment.

Why go from the UK to Germany then to Dublin.

  • Registered Users Posts: 301 ✭✭pilot1087

If its any consolation guys, the reason they go through Germany when coming from East Midlands is because DHL have the only direct cargo flight from EMA-DUB. UPS won't put their freight on a competitors aircraft and therefore it all gets routed through their hub.

Should still be in the early AM. The flight leaves Germany around 4am.

Mines also gone to Germany! Seems like a mental scenic route to me!

Mine just went from the UK to Germany. Hopefully I'll have it with me for Christmas!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,359 ✭✭✭DubDJ

Yeah even with the stopover in Germany you'll still have it by tomorrow morning. I usually get them around 12-1.

Anyone getting from UPS, it will be in Dublin at 5am.

You will get it tomorrow for sure.

You will get it. Amazingly - everything goes to some central hub in Germany (as ridiculous as that sounds).

For sure. If you're in Munster for e.g, it arrives in Shannon at 7am and goes for delivery.

Same with most ups stuff from abroad. Lunch time deliveries for most of them

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,034 ✭✭✭mad muffin

    What's everyone's ups status?

    My last one is

    Dublin 6:56am destination scan.

Should I presume it's not getting delivered today, as is not out for delivery by now?

Also, no delivery date anymore. Just last location.

Shannon, Ireland 24/10/2012 6:18 Arrival Scan

Beginning to doubt it will get delivered to me in Cork today.
