Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ordered on October 2nd, 23 days ago, and the order is still processing! Just wondering if this is typical with the rest of yee or should there be some kind of further development at this stage?

    No, factory.

Have to say I'm very impressed. I thought I might have some 'buyers remorse' but its an amazing piece of kit and I feel justified getting it :-D. I've had every other version of iPhone and this one feels and performs 'just right'!

Huge difference in the sound also and I think the new headphones are great.

I'm not having any of the issues I had with iOS 6 on the 4S ie streaming problems on radio apps and wifi reception problems. :-)

I'd love to leave it 'naked' but I'm afraid to take the risk!! I'm using a SwitchEasy Tones case and its perfect with it.

Hope everyone has got delivery of the first orders at this stage and is enjoying their purchase.

Anyone find it hard to get used to the aluminium back of the phone?

It often feels slippy in my hand.

How do you find what week it was made? I remember somebody posted a link a while back but I don't know where. Mine is 39C anyway.

EDIT: Actually is starts with C37 so not sure which one.

I've fitted a 'case-mate clear barely there' and it's a perfect fit and hardly noticable. No fear of scratches now.

the 4th and 5th numbers in the serial denote what week it was made in, the 3rd is the year so it should be xx2xx

The 4th and 5th in mine are letters??? Only numbers are 37, then 00, then 39. So I'm guessing its either weeks 37 or 39.

Apple must have changed it so. That's the way it was on the 4 and 4s. That website is handy, I found it last night aswell

I posted that link last week.

It will be interesting to compare the serial number and production week of my replacement when it arrives.

We all pretty much got ours on the first day of the delivery window so look at Apple.ie and see what delivery estimate it gives you. It should be on or before the first date on the window.

What date did you request yours to be sent out? Mine was requested on the 24th and I haven't got mine yet.

Just to make you all feel a bit better about waiting the last few days of your delivery -- https://dl.dropbox.com/u/15077165/iphone%20order.png ...this is going to be a long month!

    Ordered mine today. ''Ships: 3 - 4 Weeks Delivers 27 Nov, 2012 - 03 Dec, 2012''

Already sold my iPhone 4 so using my Samsung Galaxy Y Duo till then. Cheap phone for when I work abroad.

Gives me a month to get a nice case and screen protector.

I already sold my iphone 4 too last week.. and now using a blackberry curve until then. I was in two minds about getting a 5 until today where I just realised that I simply can't make the permanent downgrade from an iPhone
