I'm getting really sick of people knocking on my door asking for my account details.

Does anyone know where I can get a big sticker
for my front door saying " no charities or salespeople" or similar?

I live in a country town so I don't get a lot of callers to my front door but any time I do I ignore it - if they are friends or family they'll ring me to say they're outside.
So there's your answer - move to a more rural location.

The last 3 sales people to my door have been selling those stickers!!!
Maybe you should hear them out before you banish them?

That would be a great business idea. Call to doors early in the morning rattling ringing and banging on the door then when they answer they would be very likely to buy one of those stickers. I must ring the IDA.

You can get them in most hardwares I'd imagine. I got mine on ebay. No cold callers, no junk mail, no religious organizations. It's been a lot quieter, and less shyte to throw out.

Answer the door completely naked except for a pair of odd socks and a big cowboy hat.
Don't speak to the person at all, just smile, make grunting noises and open and close your eyes as quickly as possible.
It helps cheer up my day no end.

Get a nice big hacksaw. Take the head of the next one that has the gall to knock on your door & beg for money. Then mount it on a pike in your front garden.

Do we have doorbells, which make the sound of a ferocious and angry Rottweiler? I had one of them in Germany, after a few weeks, nobody rang the doorbell anymore :P
