Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Apart from a handfull of female politicians I can't think of another place where you can see men and women on an equal basis,I don't know about others but I do think women are portrayed badly in movies,tv and media.

Men are portrayed badly on tv too.
On tv ads we're all portrayed as idiots who can't get anything right and couldn't function without women.
    Goes both ways.

So what's this got to do with Vincent Brown?

As I said it's one of the few places where you can see clever men and women together.

Vincent Brown has some kinda monopoly on women ?

Well saying they're portray badly in films anyway has to do with what types of films you're watching and what era they're from also.
I guess you can argue too about the media.
I mean if you're buying something like the Sun everyday you have to expect it's being catered to males. I have no idea how anyone buys this crap. They get their tits which is a seller for sure, but it's so badly written it's shocking. It makes the Star look like a broad sheet!

I think the OP is saying Vincent Brown treats women as equals to their males counter parts or something along those lines. That's also media/TV.

I don't see any real discussion for this thread. It's such a broad statement you've made!

Fecked if I know what you are on about OP, but I fancy the one with the curly black ringlets that Vinno always has on. Fine thing she is.

About two maybe three years ago there were constant complaints that he had almost no female pannelists. Have to say that it's really good now that they addressed that a bit more.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

I love women and without them existence would be pointless but we need to strike a fair balance, let's treat everyone equal, sort out the women's rights movement and replace it with an equality rights movement, we're living in Ireland/Europe, we've got a fantastically better deal than most already at this stage.

That was embarrassing. He was being a bit of a dick at the beginning but really started to take her to task well for her nonsense talk.
