    Nothing necessarily wrong with the place.

    Apartment prices in Waterford have come way down. There is a 1 bed gone up on daft today asking 25k. Several apartments are for sale in Penrose Lane/Court for around 30k. There are some insulation and heating issues with those apartments though, and the whole area is occupied by Eastern Europeans so that may put off some potential buyers, hence the price tag.

    As for this place at hand, it's close to town, may be quite noisey, and I believe it's close to where that poor homeless guy was murdered a few months ago.

    Right. Is that a rough part of town?
    Is Waterford dodgy in general? I mean people slag the place off but it can hardly be the South Bronx, no?
