all depends on what kind of video camera you might be looking for really!

if its a consumer type then any of the camera stores in most places will have them like Harvy Normans, Argos etc.

if your looking for pro or semi pro apart from Sony who sell semi pro online http://www.sony.ie/hub/handycam-camcorders theres only two that i know of
    http://www.camerakit.ie/
    and
    http://www.eurotek.ie/

they dont usually put any prices on their stuff so you wont be able to compare without calling them

ive delt in the past with this uk store they come very recommended http://www.creativevideo.co.uk

+1 for these guys, ordered some stuff off them recently on a Friday, it arrived on the Monday afternoon, well packaged & protected from any potential bumps en route! Also had great email & phone support with them when there was a problem with my order through the site. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Shop around, Creative Video are looking for £1799 + VAT for a Z1!!?? They have got to be kidding, I'd give €1000 max for one if I was in the market for it!

EX1 for £3495 + VAT is also a bit expensive.

Shop around. Eurotek can be cheaper than the internet for cameras or mics etc. You can pop by their place in Sandyford ind est and collect ur order and talk to the guys about the product which is nice. They sold me a birger adaptor for eos lenses on a micro 4/3 camera which didnt exist though. Had to go back and askwhere it was weeks later. Apart from that, Id still recommend them. They are Canon stockists too so you can get your eos lenses and digital cams there too.

Creativevideo sometimes have good deals but generally moreexpensive - but at least its not grey market stuff like simplyelectronics.net or purelygadgets - I got a canon xm2 off simply I think and the top row of pixels is degraded from the start which means i always had to scale up to 102% in post. But it was 500 cheaper than anywhere else so....
