Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Switching foundation from Bobbi Brown

    Hi all,

I currently use Bobbi Brown moisture rich 3.5 warm beige. I absolutely adore this product and have been using this for appro 3+ years. I feel however that I would like to purchase maybe a lower end foundation for day time as I find sometimes I use Bobbi very wastefully. Does anyone know of any product that is similar in texture/colour to this foundation? I have tried a few testers in Boots but have found nothing like it as yet.

Would greatly appreciate the help xx

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Seriously, it is so hard to find a base you like. I wouldn't risk it.

I don't own any Bobbi Brown foundations, so I cannot make a healthy comparison. However, Bourjois foundations are pretty good. I particularly like Healthy Mix and Healthy Mix Serum. The only other drugstore foundation I own is Revlon Colourstay. I don't use it very much as I favour lighter foundations. It is quite heavy coverage for my taste. And it feels a bit heavy. But, I use it when I need a bit more coverage by mixing it with a luminising base (1:1) and it gives flawless and natural finish.

I have sensitive skin and acne; and the 3 I mentioned are the only drugstore foundations my skin can tolerate.
