Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Im not going to give any examples, as you all know what it means and dont want to colour your ideas in any way.

The rules:

-Photos must be posted within 2 weeks of the day the task was set– so the closing time/date is 23:59 on September 27th 2012.
-No old photos.
-Only photos taken with this task in mind qualify, therefore, the photo must be taken after 00:01 on September 14th 2012
-Photos must be on the given task.
-ONE photo per post. But submit as many posts as you like.
-Stretch yourself – there is no limitation to what you can do to produce the image.
-The next task/subject is to be chosen by the person who has the most thanks after their post at the closing date/time (the post must include a photo).

Synchronous Digital Hierarchy

This is my first attemt at a star trail photo. This is an SDH transmission tower.
Theres 72 images combined... I would have liked to do more, but was getting a pain in me hole trying to stop the lens fogging up.

The ease at which animals communicate their mood to each other is always amusing. Mutley just wants the cat to leave him alone and thus he duly ignores ignores its attempts to play.

Thanks. My animals make up a large proportion of my competition entries here so the look on the dogs face could be at me!

It's class

Thanks - its a Pentax DA 35mm f2.4. The photo is at 2.4 I think which is why only part of Mutleys head is fully in focus (left eye). The lens is good and also not overly expensive either.

Yes, they all work! It's Cat 6 cable assembled by an amateur (me). That's why I liked the picture.

Sorry for posting twice, I prefer the layout of the first photo but the non flash in the second one. Old fashioned form of communication...handwritten beats e mail, text or tweeting in my opinion.
