OK, I'm calling bullsh!t on the way Google calculates these. Surely a Bacon connection should depend on actors having actually worked &/or appeared in a film together. Checked the BN of Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle, whose heyday was 90 years ago or so & got a 2, which seemed ridiculously low. He's linked through Eli Wallach, who starred with Bacon in Mystic River. Eli Wallach is certainly old, but didn't start film acting until 1956, long after the career of the unfortunate Arbuckle came to a premature end. Google have linked them through a DVD called "Slapstick, Too", which as one can see here is only a collection of clips from various films, in one of which Wallach appears. To my mind that's not a proper connection as the two actors never actually worked together in any capacity.

I got annoyed with this. With Choi Min-sik, I decided search his Korean co-stars hoping that if he was a 3, one of them would at least be a 4. However, they all seemed to star with a western actor in at least one other movie meaning they were all either 3 or 2. Then I stumbled across a 4!

James May isn't technically an actor but surely if he was counted there would be a much shorter route to Kevin Bacon regarding appearing in the same episodes as many of the 'Star in the reasonably priced car' segments. Don't think the search works on everything. But for the most part it's impossible. Can't get more than 3 myself with Noel Fielding...
