Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Easy win for Derry. Look out for a couple of cracking goals on MNS.

Just hoping for a home draw now in the semi-s, then you never know.

Delighted with that. First time Dundalk have reached the Semi-finals of the cup in 10 years. We actually won the cup that year but ended up getting relegated as well. Hopefully history doesn't repeat itself.

Is there a better free kick specialist in the league than Mark Griffin? That's a rhetorical question by the way. The answer is no.

Wow. Certainly didn't see that performance coming. Either of them tbh.

We battled and played pretty well, but Shamrock were shocking.

We should have a statue of Philly Hughes only the thing would cost a bloody fortune. :D

What the holy fúck happened for their goal? Bastard Shels conceding in injury time again.

It says it all about Rovers at the minute that not even Shels could bottle that lead, despite their attempt.

Were you sneaking out at 9.30 like the hundreds of Rovers fans, 20 mins left and heading home, wtf?

And despite all those hundreds of fans already gone, all Shels fans had left the ground by the time the last Rovers fan had filtered out with no delay.:)

Sure we will just have to live with the small consolation of having something left to play for this season.

But I just followed my doctor's advice, a minimum of 2 litres of liquids a day. And I always leave change in the kitty bank in the Bar, maybe it goes towards the Philly Hughes statue :D

I'd take Derry away over the winner of the Pat's/Drogheda replay.

I'd be happy enough with anyone but the winner of that match. Shamefully I've never been to Oriel so I'm personally hoping for Dundalk away.

Dundalk at home is the plum draw, and everyone will be hoping for that.

New Jesters, SPA/Drogs will be looking for us as second choice though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,558 ✭✭✭✭dreamers75

Drogs 5-1 to win the cup outright ahead of tonights game.

    Derry 2/1
    Shels 11/4
Pats 3/1 (4/1 with few bookies)
    Dundalk & Drogs 5/1.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,597 ✭✭✭dan1895

Winner of tonight's game will more than likely move into the favourites position. Now I'm off to change my username to Captain Obvious.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 41,926 ✭✭✭✭_blank_

    SPA should be 51/1

Which bookie is that? Have an account with PP and some money on Danedream to win the Arc, I could invest it into Shels winning the cup

'Revenge' sounds a bit hard, but I wasn't happy going home from Tolka a week ago ;)

Off topic - I walked past a bloke in Tesco's in Swords about 6.30pm tonight wearing Borussia Dortmund gear - that you?

    I hope it's a Derry - Dundalk final ;)

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test
