Protools 8 upgrade to 9?

Hey all, I was given a free copy of protools 8 but unfortunately I use an apogee duet for all my tracking so obviously its not compatible! Are there any work arounds that could let me use the duet with PT8? Or is there somewhere I might be able to get an upgrade to 9 for cheap? I know 10 is out but I'd rather not go down…

Hey all,

I know 10 is out but I'd rather not go down that path just yet, especially if I can get 9 for cheaper!

(Also trying to steer away from student copies as well)
