Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Absolutely brutal half.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,883 ✭✭✭smokedeels

    We are very predictable
We could have done with Berba today, 2 goals

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

Awful half of football. Lack of tempo AGAIN from Utd. So pedestrian out there, it's shocking at times. Look very vulnerable again form set pieces.

Wigan have been poor too, breaking with pace on th counter but look clueless in front of goal so far. Getting away with some fairly hefty challenges for their centre halves too.

    Frustrating and uninspiring so far.

Surely we need some sort of a left winger out there?

Same old United, no imagination and no clinical finishing. If this continues we won't be winning much this season again, it really is hard to watch.

I`ll refuse to watch Fulham tonight. It would be like watching your ex riding someone else ( and it being discussed by Gary Lineker and Alan Hansen )

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,785 ✭✭✭killwill

Buttner has been impressive. Has gotta watch his positioning after bombing forward but I like him so far. Evra might be getting abit nervous about his starting position after a few months I reckon.

    Berba Penalty.

Why Berba is at different club and hernandez is still at utd is something only Ferguson could reason for.

Steady on there. This is a starting eleven without Rooney, Van Persie, Kagawa and Valencia.

Brutal first half but a bit of perspective.

Welbeck should have been booked for Dive. Was never Peno.

United have been muck so far.

The tempo in our game is not there for past few seasons now in games like this.

It was the exact same over the past 4 games when Rooney, Van Persie, Kagawa and Valencia were playing.

Giggs off please, the whole team is unbalanced when he plays.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 11,631 ✭✭✭✭Hank Scorpio

Was Giggs even playing, In fairness hes been a great servant but he shouldn't be starting games

And did Utd not score goals in those games? Pick up points?

It's mid September. It's foolish to call the season at this stage.

I can give you a reason too.

Berba help up our play to much and has only a couple of years left in him. Chico on the other hand is one of the most promising young strikers in the world.

In fairness, adox, there's 45 minutes left to play this afternoon; you're calling it like we aren't going to score anything in that period of time.

Ah ya I know that, I said if they continued to play like this then it would be a very long season.

You'd have to question the hunger of some of the United players out there.

You didn't say anything directly like that but I only took up on it from you saying "And did you Utd not score goals in those games" in response to another poster.

Apologies if I picked you up wrong.

  • Lol some people here dont think Chico is one of the most promising young strikers in the world?

    Priceless.

26 goals in 41 games for Mexico

Nani hasn't beaten a man all afternoon. He just doesn't seem to want to beat a player.
