Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It'll go off without a hitch at the start but not sure about the rest of the game.

Hopefully it will be another 3points.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,808 ✭✭✭Caveman1

I think this will be a tough game for Chelsea, hopefully we get an early goal and silence the fans, I'm sure it's gonna be pretty hostile there.

Im gonna go for 3-0 to Chelsea, Torres to grab a brace

No team news yet but we definetly need quick and aggresive play to stiffle QPR and thrhome crowd too.

Not confirmed yet, but word has it there might be a football match on after the much anticipated handshakes.

    Or a war. :pac:

Bosingwa to score a rocket.....or give us a penalty.

Should be another 3 points our way but anything can happen. I hope the whole handshake thing doesn't distract from the game, it would be so much easier if the handshake was done away with for this game.

    Fixed that for you.

The handshake and that ridiculous, cringe-inducing speech thing that they have before international matches.

    Totally worthless.

The speech is funny, when Ireland played the Kazaks, it was easier to understand their caltain then it was to understand Keane. :pac:

No supposed about it. QPR official website confirm it :)

That Chelsea team, if official, is disappointing. :(

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,808 ✭✭✭Caveman1

RDM playing it safe I feel, don't think Bertrand on the wing is a bettor option than Moses

On paper at least, that's a top half team.

Still expecting a not-so-comfortable 3-1 win for Chelsea, Moses to get one

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,808 ✭✭✭Caveman1

The Chelsea team is official, why put Cole & Bertrand on the left, it's not like Bosingwa will tear them apart, I'm with Gav on this shocking team selection

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

No excuses for it, were playing a LB on the wig and CM on the other wing while we have options that betrer suit the position on the bench.

Its stupid and asking for trouble. Everything will be going through, or at least attemptig to go through Hazard centrally today, thats going to play right into QPR's hand.

We'll do well to come out of this game with 3 points I reckon, now that I've seen the teams.

We've Moses Oscar and Sturridge on the bench. One of them should have started wide.

We'll be relying on them to come on amd save us I reckon.

Don't know what RDM is thinking.Like the rest of ye,disappointed.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

If we go out and well and truly beat them it will be justified but its goig to be a tricky match.

No handshakes for Terry and Cole.

Must be the most ridiculous pre match routine imo. Needless.

That was great play from Torres

High foot in the box. The problem is that the ref would've given a free kick for that all day long had it happened outside the box...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,656 ✭✭✭cgpg5

Bertrand should have been given an early shower there. Feisty game

  • Moderators, Music Moderators Posts: 4,726 Mod ✭✭✭✭Gonzovision

    Penalty all day

Blatant shirt pull on JT in box for corner. Refs really need to open their eyes for situations like these.

Terrible performance, whip Bertrand and Ramires whos only contribution have been to get booked.

Time to earn your money Robbie and bring on Moses or Oscar or both.

Lampard is a passenger again, doing little to influence the game and when hes upfield Mikel is caught on his own back there.

QPR are easily crowding out Hazard and Torres despite their half chances but its been a poor 45 mins.

    Need changes soon.
