When i turn on my xbox its taken about 2 minutes for it to find my controller? Anybody know how i can fix this? I know its not the controller because i bought a new on today and it still doing the same?

also out of curiosity i'm wondering how much will a slim xbox 360 cost if i trade in my elite towards it?

The RF board is more than likely going to crap out on you.

    Pretty simple to replace

In a scale of 1/10 of repairs I would rate it as a 2/10
But bear in mind I've repaired over 100 of these things so my difficulty level may be slightly skewed,

    But Its pretty simple

    1) take the faceplate and bottom/top vent off,
    2) remove first half of the plastic shell
    3) remove 6 long T10 screws holding in the second half of the plastic shell and remove the plastic shell
    4) remove 3 small black T8 screws and replace rf board
    5) Put console back together

You should find a detailed instruction online with pictures

trust me look at a few guides online its pretty straight forward when you get stuck in,

You wont get much for your xbox in a shop I'd say
better of fixing it or getting it fixed imo

If you don't want to open it up just connect the charging wire to the controller and the Xbox this will make it sync up automatically.
