You get a new password when you go IT dep. Change it when ya login. Doesn't matter if ya registered yet.

If you mean your exam results acc you may need to email reg/student services for your 6 digit password.

^ Yes. You'll need to get a password from the IT centre. They'll scan your student ID and print out your password.

I agree with Sierra 117. Whether your a 1st year student starting off or going into your next year of study you will need a password for moodle and for the gmit email as well. If your going into a subsequent year of study the password that was given to you last year has been wiped out. You will need to go to the I.T. center in GMIT its located on the bottom floor where the library is on the gmit campus. Make sure to have your student card with you if you have one from last year or at least your student no. The I.T. department will know if your registered or not and if you are registered they will issue you with a password for this year. They are open these days from 9.30am to 9pm so its good to pop in. You can also ring them as well and if not registered they maybe able to help you anyways. Good luck
