Just wondering know it's early yet but odds are 6/1 that this year is Ireland's wettest ever yee or nee . Thanks

I don't know exactly but I'd doubt it somehow. While the summer was very wet (June especially) and the spring was relatively wet at times, if I remember correctly January, Febraury and March were much drier than usual. Even this month (up to yesterday according to MT), the rainfall is less than half the average.
    I'm open to correction though.

    I say nay.

It has only been the summer months that have been wet really.

My own records on rainfall for the year so far.

2009 will take some beating for rainfall totals for this part of the country at least. Still have only recorded half of what I recorded in that year alone, although still the guts of autumn and early winter to get through yet. :)
