    Dear All,

I am thinking of upgrading some of the components of my PC and was wondering if anyone could recommend some upgrades or if i should just scrap this and rebuild a new PC for gaming mostly RPG's.

    Power Supply 250W

    Manufacturer Packard Bell
    Model ixtreme M5722
Total amount of system memory 6.00 GB RAM
    System type 64-bit operating system
    Number of processor cores 4

    NVIDIA GeForce GT 320

Many thanks for any help received.

Answer these questions so that we can help.

The GPU is by far the weakest component there. You'll be better off upgrading the CPU if you have the budget. Not much can be salvaged from that build, maybe the case. The PSU is too weak for a new GFX card. The RAM is DDR2 so you won't be able to carry it over to a new motherboard.

Thanks for the quick reply, I was thinking that it was rubbish.

    1. What is your budget? [€600-800]

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? [Gaming] (Diablo 3, LOL, Starcraft 2, WoW and Guild Wars 2 )

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? [No]

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? [Hard drive but was thinking for getting a Solid State]

    5. Do you need a monitor? [No]

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? [1920x1080] [Maybe]

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? [None needed]

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? [Maybe]

    8. How can you pay? [Credit Card/Laser]

    9. When are you purchasing? [Looking to buy within the next two months]

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? [South Dublin]
