Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sorry if this is wrong forum but I've tried googling to no avail. I remember maybe about ten years ago reading about an irish female writer who battled with depression for years. In the end she lost the battle and committed suicide. In the article the lyrics of the poem 'Blackbird' were quoted. I think she picked this poem herself. She had dark hair I think. I just cannot remember her name. It may well have been an article in the indo.

Are you thinking of Roberta Gray? She used to write a column I liked in the Sunday Tribune.

It was indeed Roberta Gray. That's right, she wrote for the Tribune. Died in 2006 I think. A talented journalist and critic.
