Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Message in a bottle

    Just back from Irish dancing at a GAA club and on their notice board i read about this brilliant new scheme that started in England recently.

    You get a bottle with 3 green stickers. You put 1 sticker on the inside of your front door,1 on the inside of your back door and 1 on the bottle. In the bottle you put all your medical info(allergy's, ailments,etc).

    You then put the bottle in your fridge. Why the fridge you ask.Well nearly every house has a fridge and because of the insulation in it fridges will normally survive a fire.

    If the emergency services come to your house and your unconscious they check the back of the door and upon seeing the sticker head straight to the fridge. The bottle is checked and if needed it is taken with you to hospital to pass on to doctors.

    Its so simple and could save your life.

    I can see it now………

    I'm panned out on the deck after a heart attack and the paramedics are running around the gaf looking for little green stickers on my doors and a bottle hidden in my fridge.
    It'll be like an ER Easter egg hunt.

    Foolproof, the first thing paramedics look for when they go into someone's house is free beer, so the stickers on the doors are irrelevant.
