Imagine WiMax being a pain in the ass

I got Imagine in my house a few months back ( despite my many protests I was over ruled) but it surprised me in being fairly solid, nothing mind blowing but it did what it said on the box, 4 meg down and 1 meg up. The router isn't great, ZyXEL NBG-417N, it's so unknown ZyXel don't even have it on their site but it worked.…

Then about a few weeks ago I started getting issues with connection, two laptops in the house would simultaneously drop connection and say "Local Only" , eventually I figured out that it was a problem with getting the DNS server from Imagine so I rang them up and they said it was a tower that had gone down near us, they finally restored service the other day and now my connection is slow as all hell 0.44 mb down and 0.11mb up.

Safe to say I'm pretty furious with it, was just wondering if anyone else around the Drogheda region with WiMax is having the same problem and if there's anything I can do? Bearing in mind that getting a new ISP isn't an option
