    Hi,

Has anyone a good recipe for a pasta (preferably linguine or spagetti) with seafood (preferably shellfish - prawns, clams or squid etc). Preferably tomato based with garlic or chilli or both... Needs to be fairly simple.

    Thanks

Fry off some onions, garlic and chilli. Add a tin of tomatoes and a teaspoon of sugar. Simmer. Cook pasta. When the pasta is 2 minutes away from being done, add cooked prawns to tomato sauce. Drain pasta, serve. You can add whatever herbs you like to the tomato sauce, or a dash of brandy even. The longer you cook the sauce, the nicer it will be.

Thanks. Do you mix the pasta with the sauce or put on top? Would it be nice to add white wine to sauce? What herbs would compliment this dish?

Doesn't matter, it all ends up the same either way.

Sure try it. Add the wine before the tomatoes and allow it to bubble for a couple of minutes before adding the tomatoes.

Personal preference. Try a few and see how you like them. Basil or oregano would be nice, I'm sure.
