Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Martin Lipton and Ollie Kay just tweeted saying they heard the same

Yeah I thought so. I think he shows LIverpool way too much respect in this fixture.

This is a prime example of a game that you'd miss Rooney. Liverpool's defence and goalkeeper still look vulnerable trying to play that 'passing' game and any sort of pressure on the ball and they give it away. RVP doesn't bring the same work rate up front as Rooney would.

Doesn't make sense to any United fan I'd say

    Shocking by Fergie

    Take Giggs and Evra off

Strange the way, Ferguson is called a genius and the best of all time. But some fans still think he doesnt have a clue.

funny that i remember someone saying liverpool play like stoke.

yes you know who you are.

Watching this they've passed the ball better in the 1st 20 minutes than united have all season.

Yeah, but MancRed912 and GiggzClass88 just tweeted that they agree with me, so I don't know how we're going to resolve this.

United look pretty open in midfield. I wish Darren Fletcher was fit.

Rafael is defending very well though. Coaches have obviously been working hard on him.

Looked like that should have been a pen. Arms all over him and threw him to the floor. Reckon they got away with one there.

Away fans generally seem louder, mainly because of their location in the stadium.
:confused::confused: Home fans usually are louder because at Anfield they outnumber away fans by almost 40,000.

    Ferdinand injured?

Big loss. Buttner on, Evra CB, I guess.

FFS Ferdinand better not be injured too

My stream is rubbish but Evans really did look to be impeding Agger.

Liverpool had better penetration with the Young Boys.

What is the purpose of Borini
    Gerrard started well

He was a player Rodgers had a number for?

Gerrard has just put in as good a 20 minute stretch as he has managed in some time.

He obviously not a 100%, other wise you would have your captain and best defender playing in an important game like this

Borini is there to make up the numbers. It's him or Downing.

That free was as bad as one of Gerrards corners.

You need to capitalise though and we haven't. Giving it a right rattle though it must be said.

In terms of the atmosphere the home fans are probably caught up in the day that it is. It'll take liverpool to do something to make them shout about it. Pretty emotional game

At least he beat the first man :pac:

Well in fairness he is rarely getting the ball - the entire team is producing nothing and with Giggs in CM he has no platform off which to build.

Jesus Suarez, always trying to do too much with the ball.

Do you mean the first man sitting in Row Z?

It'd do United much better to go 4-4-2 and get at the Liverpool back line and make them make the mistakes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,017 ✭✭✭sReq | uTeK

they need to bring scholes on 2nd half and get giggs off.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,306 ✭✭✭✭Drumpot

I think if you look at uniteds bench, SAF is relying on his subs to win the game! United just don't have the ball enough , feel like I'm waiting for Liverpool to score!!

Liverpool are more than capable of making mistakes in the back 4 without any pressure on them at all :)

All Giggs is going running from the centre circle to our box when Liverpool have the ball, waiting to fck up a pass.
