Legal requirement to notice of shift change and compensation?

Hi All, Just asking for a friend but does anyone know the legal requirement for notice of shift change? Shift is going from 10hours (4pm - 2am) to 12 hours (7-7pm) 4 days a week. So an extra 9 hours a week. Just wondering if anyone has any information on what notice and compensation a company should be giving to salaried…
