Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi guys,
Have been offered an iphone 4S 16gb for 400€. The box has been open but it has never been activated. Does this sound like a good deal? I think it is, but i am not that familiar with apple products and i think I am going to buy it.

Any advice/comments would be greatly appreciated.

It all depends who you're buying it off. It's a good deal but, and there's a few buts, who and why are they selling it firstly.

They are selling it because it was a free/cheap upgrade and decided to sell to get the "5"

A brand new one from Apple that is factory unlocked costs €579, so if it's unlocked, yes it sounds like a good deal.

Put in a sim card, and check if you actually get network coverage. If you don't, that means the phone was stolen, and the IMEI is blacklisted (ie. it's blocked, and it will NOT work). If you get normal network coverage, it's good to go and then it's an amazing deal. ;)

Be sure to check this though, before buying it!
