Myself and 4 pals have noticed there's quite a few warehouse type units on the market for reasonable rents.

we were thinking of pitching in together, we're all expected to be here for the next 2 years, in renting a unit and stocking it with good quality

    power rack
    squat rack
    olympic platform
    bench
decent oly bar and bumper plates
    decent power bar and plates
    concept 2
    few kettle bells
    few others bits and pieces

right now we're not bothered with getting a shower or anything like that just looking at a 70m2 place

haven't looked into things like foundations or anything like that, presume we'd be alright for lifting, none of us do massive numbers. wouldn't want to piss the neighbours off with weights

anyone any ball park figure we're looking at to get this off the ground, excluding rent, electrictiy and all that

Unless they have rules against it might 1 of those self storage places be an option? If it is, theres plenty of websites to get a price off.
Best thing about them is that theyd have security

Probably 10-15k if getting good quality bars, bumper plates and thin PL style plates and giving it a REALLY nice fit out.

70m^2 is possibly even a bit big if it's just going to be yourselves.
