Ikea Venetian blind not locking!

Hi brought 80 by 155 ikea blind! When blind is halfway down and I try to lock it and one side won't lock and hangs down! From what I can see the roller in head of blind not catching inside thread properly and slipping! I live hour and half drive from Ikea if simple to fix I would rather give it a go! Only got them…
