UCD Rifle Club is pleased to announce that we will hold the UCD Autumn Air Open 2012, on Sunday 30th of September 2012 at UCD Rifle Club Range, UCD, Belfield.

This is an open competition for 10 metre Air Rifle and Air Pistol.

Competitions:

• Air Rifle 60 shot
• Air Rifle 40 shot
• Air Pistol 60 shot

Class prizes will also be awarded (based on the first 40 competition shots).

Entry fee: €15 (€10 students/juniors/seniors)

Pre-booking is essential.

Many thanks to everyone who came out today to take part in the UCD Autumn Air Open 2012.

In the Air Pistol Competition Rathdrum's Caroline O'Brien came out ahead with a score of 535, followed by UCD's Joe Thompson in second and Wilkinstown's Tomas Jakubauskas in third.

The 40 Shot Air Rifle competition saw DURC's Aisling Miller take first place once again with a score of 385 with club mate Siobhan Scarlett taking second place and UCD's Sarah Dillon in third.

In the 60 shot Air Rifle competition UCD's John Lancaster took first place, closely followed by Wilkinstown's Paul O'Boyle in second and Vladimir Untila from DURC taking third spot.

In his first competition, UCD's Patrick Costigan put in a very impressive score of 574 in the bench rest category.

Congregations to all our winners and everyone who took part and we hope to see you again at our next competition, UCD Air Open I 2012, which will be held on Thursday 18th and Sunday 21st October 2012.
