VERY annoying tab switching problem

Hey,

I hate odd problems like this as its very hard to even search for on the net as I cannot find any info about it so hopefully someone here can shed some light.

The problem is fairly simple when I have multiple tabs open including an IE window any changes at all like refreshing or selecting options on a site will cause some other window to open temporarily and then minimize... this consatantly happening would drive anyone crazy. It just keeps switching tabs for a few seconds and revert back to the one you are on.

Can anyone help me out? I was thinking of an IE full reinstall?

Back up your bookmarks and give a full reinstall of IE a go

Try Tools-->Internet options-->Advanced-->Restore Advanced Setting and hit Reset button just under.
