It was never gonna be easy in fairness, but if you were to give me that draw at 10 this morning I'd have taken it. The best team from those 4 with Inter a close second.

Eh, i think Bradley wouldnt be too happy with that comment !!!!

I'm glad we've come up against Lyon and the possibility of inter if we both progress, going to have to beat them at some stage, nights at WHL will be rocking... At the quality of the teams is something we'll be facing next year if we get CL. I know I'm completely speculating but beat them 2, which we definitely can... And who knows we might be on a trip to Amsterdam :D

    Delighted ! Bring em on

    COYS!

My own preference was for bordeaux because im living there at the moment but im delighted we got a big team.

The players will have no excuse not to be up for these games and should keep competition for players (when we get all the guys back) strong

That is if he's still at the club when the games come round!

I'm glad we got some 'big' teams. I'd rather have a more competitive match against a team not too far away, rather than a non-competitive match in the Eastern Siberia which the players have no real interest in playing.

As Emoran said, the atmosphere will be great and we're playing the type of teams we want to play year-in year-out!

    COYS!

Great draws, am delighted with the chance to play the bigger teams in the comp.

Great to be drawn against some big names, gets the excitement going.

I wan't really feeling it for the ol Europa league until now and I think a few of the players felt the same at times!

I don't recognise many names in the Lyon team apart from Steed Malbranque (that sounds familiar ;)) ;)but I'm sure they'll be handy, only finished fourth in Ligue 1 last year, but joint top now with PSG who have buckets of money nd great players.

    The missus won't like this:D:D

Lazio being charged for racist abuse, arriving late to the stadium and late submission of team sheet....

Tottenham being charged for crowd disturbances....

UEFA (and FIFA) really don't have a ****ing clue what they are at. How the hell can they blame the Spurs fans for anything that happened over there?

Oh you got stabbed? Yeah, you must have been asking for trouble.

It's clear the Lazio knife-wielding fan is innocent, sure he was just holding a knife in his hand preparing to peel and orange when a crazed Spurs fan ran into him multiple times

I think it was a Roma fan that did the stabbing oddly enough.

Not tempting faith or anything like it, but just wondering if anyone has applied for Europa Cup Final tickets on the Uefa website ? I didn't bother to be honest.

I took the chance for the craic and got an email saying i was successful in my application. It will be some night if we make it to Amsterdam but hopefully I will be able to shift them on if we dont.

Fair play good man. Ah you'll get rid no bother I'd imagine, just hope for 2 big sides getting there assuming we don't.

Really looking forward to the game tonight, Malbranque could feature. My knowledge of Lyon ain't great? Certain players could do with stepping up tonight.

Very surprised Brad is playing, Lloris is No.1. Can't comprehend AVB's logic here.

Lyon HT, Spurs FT @ 20/1

    Gotta feeling;)
