Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Enrique needs to be told to play two-touch football. He overruns the ball 80% of the time.

He's incapable of doing that, always has been. Even when he was playing well for the first half of last season, he was taking risks at times.

  • Site Banned Posts: 26,456 ✭✭✭✭Nuri Sahin

Jordan Henderson has passed the most times for Liverpool today. He's passed 44 times with a 91% pass accuracy.

Jordan Henderson has also made 4 tackles v Young Boys, no LFC player has made more tackles than him.

Liverpool's width is stretching Young Boys badly.

Were Young Boys, like Celtic, founded by a priest?

Hendo and Wisdom are both playing great.

    Good game this...

Wisdom, Henderson and Aissaidi have been very good. Pacheco needs to be put out wide. Suso and Sahin need to come into it more. Enrique is getting worse and worse. That goal was a joke!

    Ah now, don't be silly.

    It's at least 96%

Yesil/Borini for Downing at HT for me. Dani to the left and Assaidi to the right.

I'd also take Sahin off after ~65 mins to give him a bit of a break before Sunday.

Yeah this or I wouldn't mind Suso being put on the right and Dani moved back behind the striker coming on for Downing. Overall it has been a very good performance when you considering the age and amount of new faces getting to know each other.

    Opr

Impressed with Henderson. It's amazing what happens when players are utilised properly.

Glad we didn't get rid of him for the embarressing £3m or whatever it was.

They might be able to come from behind.

Bad mistake but come on. Knee jerk much? That's a silly thing you said there.

Not knee jerk from me i wouldve said the same thing at the start if the match. He's a stupid player, he thinks he's much better than he is and makes a balls of it time and time again. Useless going forward and a ropey defender.

Either way I don't think they will give us an easy ride in the second half.

young boys aren't great, even if they qualify from the group they'll be fearing the champions league bigboys who have back door entry

I don't know about that. Young Boys seem very loose at the back, but before the game I thought Liverpool may have needed a big lad to open them up. Andy Carroll would have been ideal.

Brad Jones seemed fairly slow in getting across.

At first glance I thought Jones should of done better there. Great header though.

Neither of them have a clue. They showed Robinson warming up in the first half and there was silence. You could picture them checking the teams to see who he was but we couldn't see his number so the said nothing.

The guy hasn't a clue outside of the red half of Manchester. Clueless when he was working on an Arsenal game a year or go as.

I've never heard Borini's name pronounced like that before.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,225 ✭✭✭Chardee MacDennis

Does Lou Macari have a mental deficiency? He doesn't seem to grasp how worthless the Europa League is, especially when you look at the commitment required to do well...

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,787 ✭✭✭Jayob10

did he just call Borini "Boroni"?

Welch must know some damning stories of those in charge at TV3 to still have the job he does

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Why play a crossing game, when Pacheco is 5'8! (if even)!

Nothing he could do. Had no impact on the game.

    Now off for Berroni(wtf!) :P

    FFS! 3-2

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

    What a finish.

    Chronic defending though.

    Comical defending again.

Rogers proving himself a bigger joke than Dalglish tacticaly - why rest your players for a competition you can win all so you might not to to united in a competition they have no chance in winning...

    Enrique, ugh. Lovely finish though.

Oh man the amount of times I've heard him doing commentary on Pool games is terrifying, his distaste for Liverpool is up there with my distaste for him.

Also super finish for Young Boys 3rd goal.
