Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Real Madrid deserved to win, end of. Can't believe people throwing toys of prams over people saying that and then trying to wind up people by calling them bitter. If Aguero left City and scored a winner vs Utd I bet all my money in my pockets you'd have been celebrating it.

Why do UTV keep brushing over Keanes critisicim of Hart.
    It's well justified

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,661 ✭✭✭Fuhrer

Worst thing for City must be after stopping all Madrids decent and creative attacks, they let them just walk in for three terribly easy goals.

To be honest I don't know why Utd players would be delighted that it was Ronaldo scoring the winner.

Would make me sadder that he's no longer your player.

Ronaldo wasn't thinking of Utd when he scored it.

Are we just suppose to forget about one of the clubs greatest players?

Obviously seeing him score the winner against one of our biggest domestic rivals is going to bring back memories and invoke an emotion, I don't think many United fans resent Ronaldo for leaving to Spain, he was always going there.

England players in general get a pass from engliash media. Always have.

A foreign lad would be a different story.

Correct! Lesson learned? Try to block the ball when hanging on for dear life against a superior team. I'm looking at you Kompany and Hart.

Delighted, as a Madrid and United fan.

Painful interview with Jose on ITV.

Prat interviewer: Do you feel sorry for City?

Jose: No. That's football. And we deserved to win.

Hart was very good in goal tonight, kept city in it in the first half, ronnies goal was dodgy but kompany should have stuck his face in the way instead of ducking. His interview was good and correct IMO. No bull**** there.

    I think Hart did OK.
Conceded 3, 2 of which were clearly not his fault. Marcelo's took a deflection and Kompany ducked for Ronaldo's strike.
Even the other one was a class finish from Benzema.

From the look on his face in that interview I'd say he blames himself a fair bit. He should stick his boot up Kompanys hole for his "defending" against the winner

Trying to beat Hart's interview too. The man is a born winner.

Did he even shake Mancini's hand after? Bad, bad form if he didn't.

Must have me confused with one of the United / Ronaldo lovers. Nothing to be bitter about when you go to Madrid as Champions and put in a strong showing.

Another step on the ladder, roll on the next game

What was with the defending from City tonight? It was like the players had been told to mark the space and take up positions behind the ball never breaking ranks to close the players but instead allowing the shots from range. I can actually see how using that tactic against some teams may be quite a good one as they have to generally beat you with a worldy but I'm not sure given the quality Real Madrid have from range it's a good tactic. I'd guess you could argue that they are just as adept of exploiting the space left in behind if you do close down.

    Opr

Surely the people reporting the posts should be infracted for trolling the Mods.
No way could Xavi6s posts be taken as troll attempts. What should he do just take a load of sh1te from United fans looking to get a dig at City

Fair play to ya Xavi! Hard luck tonight, thought cit-eh played a good counter attacking game but they threw it away with some bad defending at the end.

Hopefully he defends City better than City defend City.

Great second half, best team on the night won, but fair play to City for having a go ( though this may have bit them on the ass )
