Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    WE WILL ADMIT that we had to call the Department of Justice to ensure that the statement reproduced below was genuine.

    The Minister for Justice, Alan Shatter, says he has made arrangements that Apple be immediately informed of an error in the maps application in the latest version of the iPhone and iPad operating system – which incorrectly locates an airport in South Dublin.

    The jist of it, Apple made an error on there mapping programme and designated a farm called Airfield Park as an actual airport. Shatter was filled with worry that a pilot might accidentally land there because of the mistake, and that all hell would break loose.

    What an utter gee bag..

    With all the technology available to an airline pilot would he really be using an iPhone/pad to navigate by?
    Oops better keep quiet or Michael O'Leary will make all his pilots buy one and then cut down on the "extras" when buying new planes!
