Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Stuck a euro on juve 2-1 to win with Vidal opening the scoring at 80-1 hopeful to say the least :pac:

Big call starting OScar when he hasnt even started in the league

    RDM on Oscar

Oscar is a very good creative player. He hasn't been here long and I think it's the right time to start him - the tempo won't be as quick as Premier League match, so it's the right game for him."

    Looks like 4-3-3!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,627 ✭✭✭Sgt Pepper 64

    Whats up with Mata then?

    Does this make sense?

"Oscar starting instead of Mata makes sense. Better defensively in the '10' role. Will be able to cover the threat of Pirlo more effectively."

    Looks like 4-3-3!

Probably will be with Juves 5 man midfield with wing backs.

C'mon be a great start to win....anything but a lose will be good.

Could Alan Parry be any further up Chelsea's ass. He is making me sick!

Loving the title of the match thread lads, good work!

Should be "Champions of Europe Vs Champions of Italy" (just to be in keeping with the current theme). :D

Haven't seen much of Juve to date. I'll be interested to see how they operate their 352 formation (that I presume Italy were using at times during Euro 2012?).

That touch and awareness of where the ball was going and where to run to get around the 2 Juve players was class. Like that almost better than the finish.

He has a hatred for the Mighty blues ,

Juve look a great side , this game is far from over there will be more goals, brilliant watch so far ,

Torres has been good , Oscar very good , mikel and brana so so

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

I think Mikel has broke up a lpt pf play. Ramires and Ivan have been ok. If ramirea could pick the right pass he'd be an excellent player.

    Damn this is Pirlo range.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Oscar is filling that number 11 jersey well. :pac:

    That is a cracking goal.

I'll take that, in fact I'll take the same scoreline come the full time whistle.

Have to agree with Gav and not you this time Pete, I think Mikel has been very (quietly) effective tonight, dare I say it in the same vein as Makelele done for us every week, now all he has to do is do it consistently, and not just the odd game!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Oscar is done a good job sticking to pirlo but thats leavig Marchisio and Vidal to do damage. Lamps and Mikel have to wake up as Jt and Luiz are strugglig with Vucinic and Gervinco.

    Ill take 2-1 right now.

The way Oscar turned and hit that reminded me so much of Zola.

Both teams look vulnerable at the back.
