Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Torres has done well. hes had very little service.

I just dont buy it, he's had the ball plenty of times, its up to him to make things happen. The sooner we get rid the better imo
Falaco would have had a hatful by now

Mata should have passed it. Good move though.

    Terrible defending. Jesus.

Terry caught out there I think.

  • Site Banned Posts: 26,456 ✭✭✭✭Nuri Sahin

Quagliarella actually did something positive

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Yup....terry all out of sorts.Stupid but the juve midfield is getting time all night.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,465 ✭✭✭kitakyushu

The difference between Drogba holding it up front last season in Europe and Torres is immense. He's just not doing it for them really.

    Quag almost copying Oscar there.

    Looked like a handball there

Draw was fair. we were still poor at markig the runners and players breakig.

  • Site Banned Posts: 26,456 ✭✭✭✭Nuri Sahin

Good game, draw the right result.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

fair result. We didn't play too bad but some of our defending was very poor.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,808 ✭✭✭Caveman1

Cant complain with the result, Mikel is way too casual on the ball, nearly cost us against QPR and loses 2 points for us tonight.

First half particulary he did running at the defenders, but he's just not a danger in any sense of the word, worse he slows down the attacking energy because we have to pass it to him. Every good attacking move didnt involve him, wait until we sign a real striker and then you will see the difference.
He's just got too much baggage now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,977 ✭✭✭Soby

Thats 3 big tests now (city , Madrid , Juve) and nothing from them. Should have finished them off tonight.

Terry and Lamps must be doing something different in the training ground if they arent being picked on merit.

Think Terry is a Keane job and only in the squad cause of the armband. Think a Ivan - Luiz/Cahil partnership needs to be tried

Totally agree, it's time to face facts that although Torres might get a few goals this season he's not the prolific striker he once was, with the team we're putting together now we can't afford to be accommodating Torres.

Definitely the fair result. I jinxed Mikel at half time he was brutal for a good while in the second half.

One thing is really worrying me and that's the fact we cannot seem to change a game at all, RDM just can't seem to make those changes to turn a game. It's like we have a plan A but no plan B at times.

Happy enough with the result but disapointing to let a 2 goal lead go. If we win our 2 remaining home games and one of the away (nordsjaelland) then we should be through.

On torres, I agree that he will never be prolific for us and we need a new striker in jan badly, very short in that position.

Ju e had a few candidates for motm. Asamoah done well, vidal and leichsteoner too. cheillini was a rock and a quick player for such a big guy.

we shot ourselves in the foot. Midfield were getting caught all night but RDM didnt change it. Naive not to move someone to help branna or mikel and lamps. cole was solod.

Anyone think Czech could've done better for the second goal?
Well impressed with Oscar tonight, reminds me of a fit Kaka.
    Chiellini MOTM.

Go get Fellani and a striker and we will be near complete

2-2 away against the Champions, I'll take that, especially as Juve played fairly sh*te.

Some belief to come back from 2-0 down; one "lucky" goal and one screamer.

MOTM Chiellini and/or Vidal (sublime talent).

    Giovinco, Vucinic and Pirlo poor.

Quags does the business when needed.

I was happy for Juve and they deserved a point. But I never like to see Quagliarella do well for them. He's still regarded as a traitor in his home town of Napoli.

Why is he regarded as a traitor?

Napoli loaned him out to Juve where he signed a 3 year deal the following season. How can they regard him as a traitor? I know it was his hometown but still..they loaned him out,.they was equally to blame for it.
