Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

ULTRASONIC CLEANERS IN DUBLIN???

    Hi,

    Does anyone know if there is a place in Dublin that specifically cleans motor parts using an Ultrasonic bath?

    I have an Aluminium engine casting I need cleaned along with other bits n pieces.

    Hope someone can help!

    not sure if they use ultrasonic (probably not), but tallaght powdercoating do a clean and strip prior to their work - could be worth giving them a shout?

    Cheers Wossack, I know they do a serious chemical strip before all their work. They did a frame and wheels for me some time back. Maybe I should get the Nitro-Mors out lol

    As its an Aluminium casing, Im a bit conscious of the exposed polished crank bearing journals being eaten up by what ever they use in those barrels.. Its definately worth an enquiry all the same.

    Aquablasting would be good for that. I know a guy in a car club who has started doing it un...Louth/N Co Dublin..
