I see Brandon McKinney has landed on IR for the second season in a row

Ex-Raven, didn't get a whole lot of playing time but was valuable on goalline stands and certain situations. Not a starter but a good player to have on the bench. Probably the biggest lineman on the team at the time at 345lbs

Pagano brought him to Indy and everything has gone wrong.

Still young at 29 but I see articles stating this could be the end of his career. Colts may work out an injury settlement and let him go rather then putting him on IR for yet another year

He got a 2 year contract last year so it's likely he won't be back! Pity but there's three or four other NT's on the roster as is!

In other camp related news the receivers and TE's have looked very good! Apart from DHB who's dropped a few! Griff Whalen looking good too!!

Josh McNary signs tomorrow! Interested to see how he goes!!

The D is giving the O all kinds of trouble in camp. Davis is playing every bit the shutdown corner and Chapman is crushing the O Line. That O line is still my biggest worry, but this D will be the most improved in the league. I'm sure of it.

Chapman seemingly knocked 4 o-linemen (albeit second team players) over on one run play yesterday or the day before!

Cherilius has been poor from what I've heard with both Mathis and Werner giving him trouble! Though it takes a while for an o-line to gel so it may be a bit early yet and also Thornton hasn't practiced yet!

WR group have been very impressive across the board! Might be bad news for Brazill when it comes to final cuts, though I think he has a lot of potential so in the unlikely event he does get cut it won't be too long till he gets a job!

Cherilus is up against two very formidable pass rushers. I do think/hope he'll improve against the rush, but I still think Luck will need to be very fast on his feet.

The new "no coast" offense should help him release the ball quicker. And as he showed in practice yesterday (with a 30 yard TD run) he's still able to make breaks when needed.

Yeah I agree Davy! I gave the O-line a lot of abuse last year but the Arians offence has the QB holding in for he ball in the pocket for a long time!

On Chapman the first two O-linemen he hit on the play I mentioned above were Satele and Mcglynn, both starters last year! I'm developing a bit of man love for him!!

I see Collie has signed with the 49ers, best of luck to him, hope gets a fair shot at it now and avoids any more injuries, especially to his head/concussions.

I like Collie as a player and admire his toughness and resilience, but with the amount of concussions he's gotten ya have to wonder if he's not better off retiring!

Hearing great things about Mr. Irrelevant 2012, Chandler Harnish, in training camp. Accuracy, pocket awareness and arm strength all looking good. Would love to see this guy make a decent career in the NFL. Hopefully he'll never play a snap for the Colts (unless it's garbage time and Luck needs a rest), but would love to see him get game time somewhere else.

Will he go back to the practice squad or do you think the Colts will carry 3 QBs on the 53?

I think he'll make the roster. It's hard to see him oust Hasselback, but he's earning himself a spot on the roster. If Luck goes down (God forbid), he'll be breathing down Hasselback's neck. Curtis Painter he is not.

If Harnish keeps going as is I wouldn't be surprised to see Haasleback let go next year! I'd say they may keep him on the 53 man roster this year just in case another team picks him up!

Probably none of this is true as of right now. Hopefully he can redeem himself against the Giants next week.

Th Offense will be good. Especially when Allen comes back. There was even a pocket at times. But we can't afford any key injuries this season.

The D was very disappointing. But Landry, Angerer and Freeman were all out.

We're not stopping the run at all yet again. More work needed in that department.

Wow, that is a huge difference, I'd imagine his daily diet dropped a couple of thousand calories a day when he retired.

On a similar note Matt Birk dropped 60lbs since he retired in February. He was on NFL Network last month.

He still looks bigger then Saturday though

Usually it's the other way round -- the calories consumed stay the same; the calories burnt drop.

To be fair I'm not concerned about last night! Bit disappointed that a few more of the 2nd and 3rd string didn't show something, especially one of the rookie CBs!

Delaney Howell really impressed me though!!

Harnish was below par too which was surprising after all the good things I had heard from camp!

This is pretty Cool. Vick Ballard's Helmet-Cam in practice. Gets better about halfway through:

Reggie has the best hands in the NFL IMO.

Luck got very lucky with that play. Should have been a pick. Badly underthrown, but looked very sharp otherwise. Hiltons TD was a beaut.

And what the hell was Harnish at throwing the ball at the TV lady. Your slim hopes of a roster spot went up in smoke with that dick move.

Eh, it was hardly intentional...he missed his receiver and she got hit, part and parcel of being a sideline reporter!

Fair enough. Only saw the clip on NFL.com. Horrible throw in that case.
