    Reed is decent.

Actually led the league in average yards per kickoff return two seasons ago.

Turned to villain after giving up two fumbles in a loss in Seattle. Compounded the fan hate with a drug suspension and became a hate figure on the forums.

Never really made an impact at WR as he was way down the depth chart.

But he has talent and will continue to be an above average special teamer.

was at the Giants game on Sunday. first time seeing the Colts in person, was great craic. :)

    Savage dude. Any Pics?

Been in Indy a fair few times. Only once during the season though. They were on the road at Pittsburgh (watched it in a local bar. It was good craic, we were 4-4, and then Peyton went into beast mode). Have no ties there anymore, so it'll be tricky going back (long way to go for a game). Maybe I'll catch an East coast road game when the little fella is a few years older.

carter traded Ravens for kick return secialist david reed, seems a decent deal for both teams

No surprise to see Carter go. Brown's had a better TC and is a cap hit. But I always like Carter. Hope he does well at Baltimore.

That's interesting, and makes sense. It's obvious that Hilton is too valuable to our Offense to be on special teams as a kick/punt returner. Good to see how Grigs and Chuck are covering every base.

Trade makes sense! Carter was likely to be cut and I don't think they wanted Hilton returning punts! I'd say Williams was drafted as a kick returner but he hasn't impressed so far in the preseason games!

Landry back practicing, should see game time tomorrow. Should help tidy up our run game.

Have my doubts about him, injury prone and not great at all in coverage but heres hoping.

You're right on both counts. But Bethea is an elite free Safety forced into a SS position to cover for guys like Sergio Brown. Landry was brought in for one reason only. To stop the run. And that's where our defense needs most improvement. Remember we gave up 5.1 ypc last season (2nd worst ahead of only the Jags). When healthy, the man is a monster -- we won't be giving up 300+ yards to the likes of the Chiefs with him on the field.

Put Simply, fresh off a (deserved Pro Bowl selection) he is a significant upgrade to our secondary. No question.

Yes fully agreed and allows Bethea back to his normal position. Interestingly enough I think Bethea will go to the Pro Bowl this year and they could be one of the best safety duos in the league, I just cant see Landry fit all year with his playing style which is a big concern. Be good to see them in tandem this weekend however.

I know. I'm worried about that too. I'm still scarred by Bob Sanders' demise. A lot of similarities in style.

Yup lets just hope for the best I assume, we just arent great depth wise at all in the secondary!

I'd say if all 4 (Davis, Toler, Landry & Bethea) stay fit we could have one of the better secondaries in the NFL! It's no Seahawks obviously but it has a lot of potential!

Butler is nailed on in the slot and I've been very impressed with Delano Howell @ safety when I've seen him! After that....I'd rather not think about it to be honest!

Yup the difference between those 4 staying healthy or not, could be the difference between a deep playoff run and missing the playoffs.

Luck is phenomenal. It's hard to process how a 23 year old sophomore can be this good.

    Edit: Jinxed him :(

Donald Browne really doesn't want a new contract!

Was gonna post something similar, but just couldn't be arsed. Watching his pro career has been frankly depressing.

Wish we'd kept Carter instead TBH.

H/T: think that's bed for me. My 3 year old is ruthless at 7.30. Great first twenty minutes. Missing our two tight ends

It came down to money id say! To think LeSean McCoy was taken after Brown in that draft (I think!!)

I will say, the Colts interior line is sh!t, and always really has been in Browns career. Thornton and Holmes are the missing pieces IMO. That's what makes it so frustrating.

Yeah that is a fair point! Even AP would struggle behind some of the O-line guys the Colts have had the last few years!

Colts D has been great tonight.

    One 1st down allowed.

I saw it. It was nice, straight up the middle, and right after we ripped him. He had 7 YPC. Problem is, he's too up and down.

Caught another look at Luck's pick last night, didn't realise it was deflected (I know, seems obvious now). I suppose it was karma after last weeks first TD, but the kid really is an amazing talent. I can't get over it.
